School Management Committees

The School Management Committee (SMC) of respective Naval School shall be constituted in accordance with the rules of the affiliation Board (i.e. CBSE) and the local Naval authority administering the school. SMCs shall be vested with wide-ranging administrative, academic and financial powers to ensure smooth functioning of Naval Schools. Subject to the extant provisions, SMC of not more than 21 Members shall be constituted for management of Naval Schools; out of which the Members mentioned below shall be ex-officio/ nominated/ elected as indicated.

9. Representative of NWWA - nominated by respective NWWA Region Member
10. Two Teachers - nominated by SMC, in rotation, from amongst 10 senior-most teachers, with the longest tenure in the school Members
11. Remaining members as per respective State/ UT guidelines Members
